My initial roles in industry were in Quality Assurance, starting off in the connector industry before moving into the military electronics world, I moved into project management and ended that part of my working life managing a large hardware and software project before starting SES.

As a qualified engineer, one of my main roles is to oversee the design process of our bespoke products and look for ways to improve the quality and features of them. I  liaise with customers on the innovations we introduce to ensure their relevance and suitability to the industry. As MD, my role is full on and never the same with all the routes that the company is presently taking.

When I’m not at work I’m very much a family man with four children and two grandchildren. I am involved with Ascot United, one of the largest grass roots football clubs, as a director and head of youth football. I enjoy live music, dancing, photography and motor racing
